Milan's Learning Journey

Good Afternoon, Yesterday I went for zones. I went for High Jump, 60m sprint and The year 5 relay team along with Lola, Amelia and Keria.  I started then gave it to Amelia, then Amelia passed it to Lola who passed it to Keria. We got a green ribbon which means we came third place and might have a chance at going to Canterbury's. I came second in the 60m and for the semi final a came fifth. In high jump I knocked the bar on 1m 05cm went on Athletics day I jumped 1m 10cm! Here is a picture of O.L.A at Zones -  My mum came to watch my sprints and my dad watched my high jump. Hello, Yesterday we did planting at Centennial stream. Here is a photo of us down there.We planted them to stabilise the river and make sure the dirt doesn't fall in. My favourite part was planting the plants. Thanks for reading, Milan

Good Morning, This is my PMI on this term. Positive - Market day, Planting at Curletts road stream and at Centennial Stream. We had our Production.  We have been practicing for athletics. Service day.  Minus - Doing four different maths tests.  1. Volume, Perimeter and Area 2. Time 3. Angles 4. Converting units to sub units Interesting - Hoon Hay had a book parade and went through our school. I really liked the costumes. Thanks for reading, Milan

Good Morning, Last night we had our school production,  Goodbye My Friend.  Our production was about year 8 about to leave school on there last day and they were remembering back when they were little. We had a matinee at 1:00pm and evening performance at 6:00pm.  We arrived at La Vida on buses and did a rehearsal changing a few things then we had our matinee. I thought Mr R - the teacher was very funny. My favourite scene was Scene 7. Scene 7 was about when the they were doing a school play and it wasn't going good. Mary and Joseph were fighting over the plastic baby and the head came off and Mary started crying. There were some nervous actors in the play acting as them and it was very funny.  Finally it was our turn to go on stage and perform the PATs blues dance (another blog post).
